Had a very pleasant experience with Savaari.com over the weekend. I was going for a wedding to Hoskote in the outskirts of Bangalore (40 kms from Malleshwaram!) — and had no idea how to arrange a cab for the duration. I contemplated Uber or Ola cabs, but it seemed difficult to convince them to go so far. And even if we got a taxi to drop us at Hoskote, getting a cab to drop us back past midnight seemed impossible.
Mr T suggested that I look at Savaari — through which I could a cab for a duration of the day, instead of relyiing on a transitory Uber or Ola.
Went on Savaari.com and came across a pleasant, minimal user-interface which offered three options – local taxis, airport transfers and outstation taxis.
Within the local options, they had clear prices stated with a range of vehicles offered. For 8 hours unlimited, the starting price was Rs 1500 for a Tata Indica or equivalent. (We actually got an Etios, I believe). This was inclusive all taxes and exclusive only for actuals — tolls, parking charges, etc.
The next steps were simple — email address, pick up location, payment options. Everything smooth as silk.
Mr T warned me that the driver’s may be reluctant to go to Hoskote, saying it’s not in Bangalore. I called the helpline to verify — and they confirmed that I could take car wherever I wanted for the next 8 hours.
A few hours later I received a mail with the driver and vehicle details. And promptly — at 5 minutes to 6 pm, the driver had arrived at my doorsteps. We kept the driver waiting for almost an hour (saris take time to perfect!) — and hopped on at around 7pm.
The driver was very well-mannered and knew the areas really well. We didn’t have to explain the location much. Moreover, as two females, felt quite safe even when getting dropped home almost at 2 am.
Once the journey was complete (7 hours 55 minutes) — the driver plugged in something into his mobile which created an electronic receipt. Since we hadn’t crossed 8 hours, we didn’t have to pay anything more. (Which was a relief, I thought the driver was going to argue on the basis of him car clock, which was around 15 minutes ahead!)
The only negative, as Mr T warned, was when I first mentioned Hoskote as the destination to a driver, he said that it was too far and not possible. I told him I’d already spoken so he called his manager and things seemed to be resolved.
Overall, a great experience. I’m happy to see that you can hire cars for out of station trips (Bangalore – Chennai two day trip costs around Rs 7000) and even for airport pick-ups and drop-offs (Around Rs 600 to Yeshwantpur).
Impressed with the rates and prompt response. Need some work to do in Hyderabad as drivers are moody but never faced any issues in Bangalore, Mumbai and Chennai trips.Happy customer
Poor experience!
Car sent for outstation trip was CNG, with little room for luggage.
Car boot didn’t lock, so had to be closed with rope.
Driver charged us extra for making a small detour which was well within the agreed and paid for distance. Savaari Customer Care washed their hands off the matter when I contacted them, saying I must sort it out with driver, who, I must say was argumentative and even threatened to leave us on the road if we didn’t agree to his terms.

worst service… my full day cab booking cancelled last minute due to driver has extra trip on same day and driver was so rude he left us in middle of road Driver Name: Shyam
I had to face alot due to the savaari driver – swaraj sood.
He blacked me in a situation he knew that I can’t offboard the cab.
SAVAARI please knock him out . He is the worst person
Savaari is good .Worst inhuman driver- SWARAJ SOOD.
NEVER BOOK HIM.
a regular customer of savaari and i have booked many cars.
WORST RUDE INHUMAN DRIVER – SWAROOP SWARAJ
My father-in-law has passed away on 14 and i had to book cab urgently with 0 booking charge.
Now below are the problems I faced:
1. I told driver we need to hurry my wife is crying and want to see her father’s body.
This guy after 5 mins started asking for full amount.
When i told him that i will pay only 25% and rest after the trip- he stopped the car and said ” SIR AAP SAVAARI ME BAAT KIJIYE . HO NAI PAYEGA”.
I told him that why are u arguing and asking money, he said .. “ab Apna Paisa bhi nai mango?”
HE was BLACKMAILING US even when i told him the problem and my wife was continuously crying.
2. He asked me to go to ticket counter and pay the parking fee. Is customer suppose to physically go and pay parking fee?
Driver does it, we just pay.
3. My wife asked him to pull his driving seat forward as there was no space for her to keep her legs. He said ” MADAM MERA KEG KHARAB HAI.. SEAT AAGE NAI HO PAEGI”.
IS THIS BEHAVIOR ACCEPTED?
4. Next day i called him in the morning at 8 am to my hotel.
He came.. din called me and when i called him at 9am that i am coming down, he said I came to have my breakfast.
He don’t even informed me that he is going for that and started arguing.
He did may blackmailing and harrasment to us which if write will be alot.
If you want to risk your precious life only select SAVAARI. They DO NOT provide professional drivers, the driver was sleeping while driving on Express Highways. From both the sides cars was going at blazing speed of 120-130 Km and my car waving between lanes. Just imagine !!
Even after this driver didn’t felt the guilt and he spoked so rudely to us threw my luggage in the car and pushed my wife and said “Luggage nai milega pehle paise do”. Soon a harassment police case will be filed against driver.
I booked a AC car and later the driver told AC is not working. We travelled 500 Kms with a hot Blower. Still I haven’t mentioned about the extra charges and all.
Savaari Mr. Prakhar and Driver (Rohit) both are greedy, they just try to take money from you in many reasons.
Mr. Prakhar from Savaari didn’t helped us in any aspects. He just gave a fake commitments. He was on call with during the entire scene. I’ve the recordings. He did nothing.
This is for Savaari CEO, first be sensitive and train your team and bring some professional driver instead of ‘inhuman’ jokers. Still Savaari is immature to do deal with Taxi business. First learn the business ethics and ethics and then do the business.
Simply ignore Savaari, they will ruin/risk your enjoyable trip.
worst service… my booking cancelled last minute due to unavailability of cabs

Sounds great. Thanks for sharing this read!
They are crooks and please for safety don’t use them. They are nothing less than goons.
The behaviour of the driver was so modest and polite, I never suspected any wrong doing and relied on him in all respect. He had shown me the initial odometer reading and I had noted it down. My limit was 1000 Kms for four days and I was constantly monitoring the progress of the Odometer reading. On the penultimate day, in the evening at about 6 pm, I left the car in my Hotel parking and noted the reading. On the next morning after I left for New Delhi from Agra, I found that the meter reading was showing at least 174 Kms more than what it was supposed to show. I pointed out the discrepancy, but the driver just shrug off my claim. I am sure, he had conducted a trip in the mean time, but I could not prove it since I had not recorded the reading and got it signed by the driver. Since, it was a family tour, I decided not to carry on the matter and paid in full, in fact Rs.200.00 more as tips, so that the spirit of the tour is not faded away. Driver Madan, Vehicle No. RJ-14-TB-4070(Booking ID 4003920)
First time booking with savaari.com. Booked it through online & payed the initial amount of rs500. Got the confirmation no. And next day they cancelled the booking saying they didn’t received any money. I have proof of my money being debited from ICICI bank
Pathetic. Don’t use this company even if you have no options. I think you’d be in better hands if you walk to your destination. Not only do they lie but absolutely unreliable and dishonest. First they will take your money through online booking and then they will send your car whenever they want if at all. Missed my flight, fake numbers shared by them and false commitments made.
Trip details : 8th july, 12:30 pm, pathankot, s0718-3894918
I have booked innova cab from savaari.com from pathankot cantt station for 3 days and 2 nights.
The driver reached for pickup almost 2 hours after the scheduled time of 12:30pm from ptkc station. The driver’s local area manager was impolite and very rude with us rather than listening to our complaint he was taking side of driver giving irrational arguments and rude in talking to ladies with us.
We were waiting for this can nearly 2 hours along with senior citizens and toddler on the railways station.. The customer care of savaari is totally misleading whenever we triied contacting them they kept our call on hold for long period of time and later disconnecting it without any proper reply.
When we begin the trip the driver was so rash in driving that we had to request him again and again to drive properly but that was of no use.
At the end of our trip the driver was asking us to pay 750 rupees more claiming that as interstate charges and the customer care of savaari also agreed with him when later verified he showed us the receipt of himachal permit which was 2100 per month and when connecting with the permit office they asked us to lodge an FIR in police station and then driver said give me whatever the bill is and went away quickly.
We had to board the train from ptkc and he kept on arguing with us till the last moment and then begin asking for a tip for the disastrous trip we suffered due to http://savaari.com
I would not suggest booking from http://savaari.com in an unknown territory, it’s as dangerous as swimming in unknown waters.

I am very impressed with Savaari services for Mr 03day Ooty trip for which my booking id was S0518-3721865car provided was Dzire and driver named Manoj. Car was very well maintained and driver Manoj was awesome and we thank Savaari team for making our trip memorable. Impressed with their communication and we were updated regularly regarding our booking and driver details. Thanks Savaari team and will book again soon with you. Thanks James
The service of this car service company is worst. They cheat the customer by not allowing the contracted kms to use. The driver appointed by them is not taking you to the place where you want to go. We have booked the round trip from Bengaluru. The taxi alloted to us was horrible and the driver informs that Savaari local office has informed him not to allow to use full kms to save the money. It seems threatened to us. I tried to complain to their call center but there was no response. After reaching back when I sent the complaint to them they denied for any help or reimbursement. I give zero rating to this car service.
I recommend not to use this service any time if you want your personal safety and good service.
Thanks Savaari team for your excellent services for Chennai – Tirumal trip. My entire family enjoyed the trip and driver kupuswamy is a nice person and drove safely through out the trip.
Hope to use your services soon for my Shimla trip as well.
Thanks
Andrew
I booked a cab from savaari for Bangalore – Mysore – Coorg during Feb 2018 for 4 days. Journey started well as driver arrived on time and 1st few days went well but later part of my journey all sudden came the rush. We skipped the sight seeing spots and were suggested to cover it on day before my return journey. couple of spots we skipped may be reason told as there is no water these days no point in going there. Till that still ok. But last day we started from coorg after morning checkout and were literally going in speed compare to the other way journey. All in all after a lunch break on the way, we reached entered bangalore at 3.15pm and then reached hosur road at 5pm. Till that time neither driver nor the Savaari executive as i called him atleast 3 times before my journey mentioned about their term that we are allowed only 2 hours of local journey from time we entered city. So for city like bangalore it takes more than 2 hour to cross the city. I had late evening flight and i specifically mentioned this to both Savari and cab driver but no one told that it will be extra amount and cant be covered during this itineary.
When they are charging for min km / day so they have control on both time and km then what is the problem if they travel within the city or outside. Guy told me that if you have stayed outside bangalore and returned at 8pm then its fine but no one clarified about this term and while i raised the complaint i am told to see the general terms and conditions like one with asterisk which usually no one goes through and therein also no clarity. Its only mentioned if you take more than 2 hours of local journey then penalty applicable but how much not mentioned.
Height is when i asked support rep to put me to floor supervisor since he wasnt understanding customer’s view and he was blocker but he said supervisor will also tell the same thing and i was forced to either relieve the cab at 5 pm or if i want to have drop at airport at 7.30 then i have to pay extra that to no local driving in between.
Really tough one and i would recommend guys be careful while booking cab from savaari. Cab driver himself confirmed had i taken that directly from him, he wouldnt have any issue as cab is hire for 4 days but savaari doesnt allow.
In the end i was so annoyed that i dropped the car at 5.15pm and preferred to go to airport on my own.
Hope this review will help others to make appropriate judgement while choosing savaari.
We enjoyed a lot. The car was in a good condition, very good driver with great service. It was a very nice and memorable trip. Thanks Savaari Team
Want to share my horrible experience with Savari and advise that nobody should use their service, here is the whole story:
Booked a cab to Pondy from Bangalore and paid full amount thinking that I will free of all hassles but this was just the start, same day I received a call from savari telling me that they are cancelling my booking as fully paid cabs are not available and they will do a rebooking with half paid money and rest I need to pay to the driver.(It’s almost 15 days and I am still waiting for my money).
After agreeing to new booking I thought that now things will be smooth but not next surprise was that I received a message stating that one Atios is booked for me(while I booked Innova and paid for the same), I called up their no-customer service and asked them to correct the booking, now I was told that things will be fine and can will reach 6:10 AM to pick us.
Thinking that all bad omen is behind us we woke up 5 AM to get ready and started waiting for cab to arrive at 6:10 so that we can reach around 12-12:30 PM and do on time check-in but keeping the standard of service there was no trace of cab and I again called their no customer service centre and I was told that there is some traffic and driver will reach soon, but that soon never came and after frantically calling multiple times somehow cab arrived around 9 AM( beauty was there was no follow up from no customer service centre) and we lost all advantage of starting early from city and reached pondy around 5:30 while our check-in was 2 PM.
Now I want to write about extra charges which savari asked us to pay( road and toll tax) :
– I was asked to pay Rs 1300 as road tax for Tamilnadu which I paid to the driver trusting that this is what the actual road tax is.
– Before reaching Pondicherry, driver asked me Rs 1000 as road tax for Pondicherry which I gave but I acompanied him till toll naka and I asked the officer about tax amount and came to know that amount is Rs 250 only.
– After this incident I asked Driver to show me the receipt of Tamilnadu and came to know that actual amount to pay was Rs 660 only.
Now I called up savari no-customer service centre and I was told that Tamilnadu road tax collection officers are corrupt and they take bribe of exactly same amount as road tax so I have to pay that amount.
I questioned driver on how much he paid and he told me that he paid 800(less corrupt officers compared to what savari no-customer service person told me).
After somehow completing my trip I came back to Bangalore and received a message stating that I need to pay approx. Rs 7000 to driver which I paid but even after that cab driver and owner argued with me and asked me to pay Rs 1000 for Pondicherry( 1000 -250) and 1500 for Tamilnadu(1300 + 200) for road tax(argument giver owner was that I have to pay more because cab owner paid road tax while buying the cab and I have share that !!!) while actual road tax amount which I should have paid was only Rs 910(660+250) and he refused to move until I pay, as it was pretty late in night and my kids were hungry and tired I paid the asked amount thinking that savari will help me resolving this issue.
Today is 6th day since I finished my journey and 15th day since they told me that they have returned half of my initial paid amount I am still waiting for my amount and any resolution on this issue.
Pathetic is that still nobody cares and no follow ups, whole of my first day was messed up and I was over charged.
Above all we drove almost on a flat tyre and cab was not cleaned at all.
Anybody who wants to have peace of mind and want to enjoy the trip should not think about ever booking with Savari.
These are just looters sitting behind website/call centre and not doing anything at all for which they exists.
The cab that never arrived.
Booked a cab for a weekend travel to Mahabaleshwar but it never arrived and the customer care is least bothered about the same.
Get well soon Savaari
I booked m travel with Savaari Car Rentals on November 17, 2017. The next day, I immediately received a message from Robina Saleeem (robina.saleem@savaari.com), asking for my flight information for a smooth pick-up. On November 21, 2017, Robina sent me some tips to help me with my trip. In them she stated that we would need to pay tolls. “Please pay for any toll, parking, state taxes as applicable directly to the authorities and collect the receipts from them.” On December 7, 2017, I updated Robina on the hotel we were going to finish our trip with the driver on, as we had changed it. She replied on the same day, “Noted. Should have any questions do not hesitate to ask. I will be more than happy to assist you with my best.” This seemed simple and reliable, having constant communication. When we arrived to Delhi’s IGI Airport on December 9, 2017, I called my driver around 2:00 to find out where he was going to be. Unfortunately, he didn’t speak English – but he was able to get someone to finally tell me he was at gate 6. My husband and I went with him to his car. It was not a Toyota Etios, as I ordered. It was an old, messed up Tata Indigo eCS (I have a picture). What do I mean by old? When he turns it off and back on again, he has try to start it 2 or 3 times for it will actually start. Toyota Etios’ and Tata Indigo eCS’ are NOT equivalents because they are both separate options on their site – Tata Indigo eCS being the cheaper car. I specifically chose the Toyota, as I am used to the space of them in America. The car was small, and it had seat belts but no buckles. We were in a car in a foreign country where traffic is crazy, but we had no safety belts to ensure we would be fine should an accident happen. He turned to us to ask us where we were going. How could he not know? Robina had been messaging me in English, so I believe that was a sign of the language I spoke. They sent me a driver who doesn’t speak or understand my language and who now wants me to explain where my destination is. My husband found a man that spoke both of our languages. It took him about five minutes, but he was eventually able to explain where our hotel was and the directions, and we left at about 2:30. Shortly after we are on the road, he pulls over on the side of the road demanding money; I mean, dark and unlit. Dark, closed buildings and traffic going by. We don’t know what’s going on and neither of us can really understand each other. We just keep telling him to take us near Taj Mahal. We eventually understand he is saying we need to pay a toll tax. Now, I’m not the smartest person in the world – but: 1. Robina told me we did not have to pay him but and toll tax person at a booth. 2. This was the side of the road AND NOT A TOLL TAX BOOTH. I felt nervous and like we were being scammed. He drove to 3 different dark areas demanding money (I have pictures). Finally my husband says to me that we will never get to our destination unless he pays him. He asked how much, the driver said 500 rupees. I don’t like the feeling of being scammed, so I email Robina what is happening and I call the 24-hour line to the company. The company assured me that he wouldn’t just pull us on the side of the road, and I explained that that was exactly what was happening. I took a picture of me being alone in a car while he took my husband to some closed, dark building. He went upstairs to wake the person up and they came down to make the transaction. At this point, my husband pulled all of our things out of the car through the back seat, and we were going to call a taxi because this was just way too sketchy for us. Something happened that turned the situation around and the guy on the phone said that there was a toll tax and it was 170 rupees (not 500), so my husband paid it. On the road, the driver wouldn’t give my husband the receipt. He sat it on the passenger seat, and he snatched it from my husband when he reached for it. When we got to the toll booth for Agra, my husband took it and I snapped a picture of it. It says 120 rupees were paid, so we were still conned out of 50 rupees. It also says it is for Uttar Pradesh, which I do not believe we were ever near. He demanded that we give him the money, and he paid the toll tax. As the change was coming back to him, I rolled my window down and took our change. However, he snatched the receipt. He pulled into a hotel that was not ours but a few minutes away from ours. He didn’t believe us. We found a hotel employee there to explain where our hotel was. This whole ordeal costed us seeing Taj Mahal at sunrise, as we didn’t make it to our hotel until about 7:30 (leaving the airport at around 2:30). This was our only reason for being in Agra, India. Our tour was at 6:00, and our guide was so nice to accommodate us. He even offered to become a middle man for us so that communication is clear between us and our driver – something Robina (whom I never heard back from again) nor Savaari Car Rentals offered to do. It was like we were just a rupee to them at this point. The driver leaves and we don’t see him again until our tour guide called him and let him know when to pick us up. This is why the only multiple star rating is for being on time. That was the one thing he did right both times (outside of not getting us to our hotel on time for our tour). We wanted to leave earlier than we told our tour the previous night, and our guide called him to tell him of the time change. He was there early. When we came out, he immediately began talking about money for the toll. He wouldn’t drive off because he thinks we were going to have another episode like the previous day. Once again, we are only supposed to pay the toll booth worker. My husband gets a hotel employee to explain that we understand, and we will pay the toll booth. It was a back and forth for no reason, so my husband just gave him 1,000 rupees. He smile and started the car. He told the hotel employee to tell us he is not a bad man. We agreed. Once again, he didn’t know where we were going. We got the employee to explain to him. We were on the road again. The ride was a breeze. We get to the toll booth to get out of Agra, he pays the toll worker but doesn’t give us our change. We remembered the other toll not too far from the airport when we came in the day before, as our hotel was near the airport for convenience. What do you know? He did not stop on the side of the road in the middle of the expressway to pay a toll tax again! My suspicions were true. This was a scare tactic to get more money out of us. He also didn’t give us the almost 600 rupees that were left over from the 1000 rupees my husband handed him before he would drive to our new destination. Did I mention that he opens the door and spits throughout the entire ride? Did I mention that the car was NOT air conditioned? Did I mention that we rode from Agra to Delhi with the windows down the entire time? Did I mention we needed to do a Jala Neti yoga session to clear our sinuses that night? Thristy minutes away from our hotel, he didn’t know where we were going. We pulled out Google maps to guide him. He began to get annoyed and arrogant, as if he knew what he was doing. Every time we trusted him – he seemed to be lost. So we stayed on it. He got so annoyed that he started to ignore us and started going to wrong ways or not taking the proper turns and exits. This set us back even more. I have a small video clip of this exchange as well. We arrive to our hotel. We are being told by Savaari that we owe over 200 rupees more than we do (our total on the bill was 5,014). My husband only paid him, I believe, 4500 rupees. He was complaining, and my husband reminded him of the change he never gave us back. He remembered and chuckled about it – admitting to that. He then asked my husband for a tip, something that, if the service was good, would have been a no-brainer. My husband refused and told him he got all he was going to get out of us. Overall, this was a horrible experience for only one night in Agra. This was for our 5th year anniversary, and if we were not strong people of faith – this could have ruined everything. This was the WORST experience we have ever had in all of our travels to other countries. On top of that, no one has reached out to try to make things right. Just because the dollar is stronger than the rupee does NOT mean you can hustle people and get more money out of them than they owe. DO not ride with this company. You will regret it!
Recently tried their service in Nagpur as it was recommended to me from my childhood friend. To be very honest initially I was a bit hesitant as I have not tried them and not heard them as well but checked their google ratings post my booking confirmation and was surprised to see that how prompt they were on query, confirmation and even get car number through sms. Happy to see that Indian companies are adapting technology for us and are doing pretty well. Good luck to team Savaari:)
Please do not book your cab through Savaari. The driver was late on the 2nd day….made us wait for about 1 hour. Said he has his own rules and doesn’t matter what the Savaari team confirmed to me at the time of booking. At the time of booking we had specifically mentioned that we need a halt for 2 hours before our drop to airport at 5 pm. The same was confirmed on email at the time of booking by the Savaari representative. However Mr. Bhaskar (the so called BOSS of the driver) and the driver said that they have no such intimation and started arguing. I asked him to share his email ID, which he refused to give. The driver refused to open the boot and give us our luggage. We were asked to vacate the cab at 1:45 pm itself and make full payment if we wanted our luggage back or extra charges will be applicable for the rest of our journey. Though I had 80 kms and almost 8 hours left from my previous package and the entire Itinerary including the halt was confirmed on email. Pathetic service and they have recruited GOONS as Savaari representatives and driver’s!!!!!
I took a cab – Innova – AC for round trip from Cochin to Alleppey, Thekkedy, Munnar back to Cochin from 29.10.2017 to 03.11.2017 for a family of four adults. Upon confirmation , I requested for providing a cab with a bench seat in the middle i.e., vehicle with 7+1 passing so that entire baggage can be placed in the rear and four pax, who are lean, can adjust in the middle seat. If required one of us can shift to back and still can have space for baggage. However I was provided a vehicle with two bucket seats in the middle and a bench seat in the rear. I was assured that the travel will be comfortable and the baggage will be placed in the carrier on the top of the vehicle with securely tied with a water proof sheet. However, upon reaching Cochin, I was informed that the luggage has to be placed inside the vehicle only and after travelling about 100 Km or so and on insisting by me, the driver informed that two of the clamps of the carrier were defective and the luggage cannot be placed on top and necessarily need to be carried inside the cab only. placing two trolly suitcases in the cab with five persons, made the entire travel miserable and most uncomfortable.
Further, the driver, though has very good driving skills, a never smiling person and most unwilling guide and /or driver. Any request, he would first deny.
Thus the entire trip has become most miserable and cursing.
The above makes it very difficult for me to recommend Savaari.com to any other and may rather discourage them from opting for savaari.com. Similarly, I also think several times before coming back to savaari.com for a vehicle in future.
