In an effort to control Mr T’s rapidly increasing bald patch, I impulsively decided to buy Hair For Sure Hair Tonic on Amazon.in. It was quite expensive, priced at Rs 800 for 150 ml, but the reviews were great so we decided to give it a shot.
What is Hair for Sure Tonic?
The box as well as the pamphlet gives a LOT of information on baldness and abnormal hair shedding (called alopecia). Specifically, Hair for Sure treats androgenetic alopecia or male pattern baldness (which can occur in females who are genetically predisposed).
Basically, your hair follicles become sensitive to some hormones (DHT), which causes the follicles to shrink, harden and become inflamed. All these lead to baldness.
Now Hair for Sure uses some breakthrough Rutexil Growth Complex which helps reactivate the follicles, prevent rigidity and prevent inflammation. All this, eventually, leads to hair regrowth.
How to apply Hair for Sure Tonic?
The tonic comes in a nice little bottle with a nozzle on top (in a very oversized cardboard box). You are supposed to directly apply 4 to 8 ml directly on to your scalp after bathing. Let it dry naturally. Apply twice a day — morning and evening. The serum smells quite nice and doesn’t seem to irritate Mr T at all.
Are their any side-effects to the tonic?
There is a tingly feeling that lingers on after applying the tonic to your scalp. This lingers for several hours. Other than that, after one month of use, Mr T is complaining of slight itchiness. (I don’t know if this is just an excuse! I’ve been bugging him to put it twice a day, but he’s only putting it once a day for the past week or so.)

You can download an app which allows you to track your day-by-day progress and take photographs to make before after comparisons. The app is fancy-shmancy but since Mr T didn’t install it on his phone, not very useful for us.

Does it really help hair regrowth /prevent baldness?
Well, after a little over one month of use, yes, we definitely see some positive results. It’s nothing mind-blowing yet, just that the the bald patch doesn’t seem super (squeaky, shiny) bald anymore. There is fine (very, very fine) hair all over the bald patch.
According to the app, it takes 3-6 months to see definitive results so we are going to wait and see!
Update 9 Months Later (August 2016)
Yes, Mr T is still using Hair for Sure on a daily basis. He applies it once every morning, after a shower. While there are no dramatic results like you would see with a hair transplant, his hair loss has stopped. That, in itself, is a great plus, and reason enough to continue. Those fine, little strands of hair covering his bald spot are still fine and haven’t grown much, so if you are expecting a dramatic change of events — look elsewhere.
And to all the mixed experiences and comments below, yes, this is the experience of one individual. It doesn’t guarantee that it will work or not work for you, so please take it with a pinch of salt.

If you are in the initial stages of male or female baldness, I’d definitely suggest giving Hair for Sure Hair tonic a shot. It seems to be completely safe and we’ve had positive results.

It does help in regrowth of hair in bald areas. I think the chemical composition is different from other products.
Its does not regrow hair at all…..its completely waste of money. If you dont trust me go ahead and try out yourself and face the reality. Try rogaine either way more effective than this shityy product.

If you have hair loss, you can try it out. Although you shouldn’t be facing hair loss at such a young age. Try changing your shampoo every few months and stop using any gels, etc.

No! This does nothing for white hair. If you want to decrease grey hair try some natural oils or chemical dyes. Don’t really recommend the chemical dyes because they may cause hair loss in the future.

Hi ,My male baldness was started at the age of 21 and now iam 34. So slowly i have lost all my hair. Only very thin layer of hair is spread across now. I have been using this product for past 2 months . Iam using mild johnson baby shampoo daily by mixing it water. Can i use it daily as said? Using H4S i cant find any improvement . Hi, We started using H4S several months ago now on a daily basis. We initially saw improvement (fine hair growing), but now the change doesn’t seem so noticeable. What is good for us is that the hair loss has stopped completely. I think maximum you should try H4S for 6 months. If it doesn’t work for you at all, might as well stop. For us, we’ve seen first signs of improvement in the first 2 months, but then my husband’s hair loss was still in the initial stages.
Justified or not, I do really obsessed about my hair. Not that I have enough on my head but only that I do not want to shed the limited to what I retain now. I am 37 years old and male pattern baldness have shown signs of setting in. My hair line has begun to recede though apparently it looks fine. I had used Mintop but not continuously. Hi Girish, I’m not too sure. While an oil massage is good to for your scalp, the new hair that sprouts after using Hair for Sure is very fine and delicate. A massage may damage it, so I would recommend applying coconut oil less often.
It’s an worst .never try to use.as I tried using it but of no use at all.rather it increased my problem with sevior dandruff.
