Let’s face it: Indian cities are horrible for your skin, even if it’s not acne prone. Whether it’s the dust, the pollution or the humidity, most of us face periodic bouts of acne in India. Our pores get clogged with dirt and, hello, there’s a new pimple. And then we wonder, what’s the best face wash for pimples? I, my friends, after trying countless natural and non-natural face washes, have found the best face wash in India: Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser!
I am one of those unfortunate souls who have T-zone skin, ie, oil forehead, nose and chin and dry cheeks. Over the years I’ve tried countless different face washes and cleansers and creams to solve the ‘problem’. Well, the problem is that I have both oily skin and dry skin and face washes that clean my nose and chin leave my cheeks too dry. And then my skin starts to peel and so I need to put cream — and then my face becomes too oily and, hello, there’s a new pimple!
Sigh.
I recently met a homeopath who suggested I keep changing face washes, because skin is sensitive and most of these face washes are not. So I went through a round of trying out various different face washes: Garnier, Clean & Clear, Lakme, Himalaya, Dove, Ponds, and on and on. Every face wash wash, though slightly different, left my skin too dry.
And then I stumbled upon Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser — and my word — what a discovery!
Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser Review
It’s truly the best thing that has happened to my skin a long, long time. It cleanses my pores truly, deeply, madly, without leaving my skin starched like paper. It comes in convenient size bottles — either a 200 ml bottle with a squishy top or even portable 50 ml bottles to put in your bag. According to the website, Neutrogena Deep Clean works by:
- First, this dermatologist-tested formula cleanses deep down into pores, dissolving dirt, oil and makeup
- Then, it removes dead surface skin that can dry, roughen and dull your complexion
- It rinses clean, without leaving any pore-clogging residue
- Dermatologist tested, oil free, non-comedogenic
I honestly have to say — Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser is the BEST thing that has ever happened to my skin. You have to try it to believe it!
Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser, 200ml costs Rs 305 on Amazon.in (MRP of Rs 350).
What moisturiser to use for acne-prone skin? Neutrogena, of course!
I use the face wash (or facial cleanser – what’s the difference?) with Neutrogena Oil Free Moisture, which costs Rs 299. My skin feels fabulous because it is:
- Oil-free
- Non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores)
- Hypoallergenic
- Fragrance-free
There is also a Neutrogena Oil Free Moisture SPF15, 115ml for Rs 299 on Amazon.in which protects you from the sun when you go outdoors.
Try it to believe it!
I have oily skin… Does it works??
I have used Neutrogena sunscreen, toner, moisturizer, serum and deep clean face wash. I can say this product is amazing at all. At the past I have used many products but neutrogena’s product care my skin very good. Neutrogena sunscreen is the best sunscreen that do not make tan on your face. So I love Neutrogena face products.
I love avene’s soapless cleanser. Its slow working but really gentle and helps with my breakout to an extent. Its little expensive but one bottle easily goes 6mnths and over for one person
I have used neutrogena deep clean in past and it did not help that good(i have combination skin with dirty pores),in fact it did not affect my breakout at all. Now I used wrinkle repair by the same and I noticed it helps a lot with my occasional breakout so I am going to give the wash another try after years now, for the pore-sake.
I have oily skin and i have a acne i use this product pls say
